Our Mission & Vision

Challenges Facing our Communities

Seniors in migrant and refugee communities face the growing challenge of isolation, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. For many, navigating social connections and healthcare needs can be daunting.

How We’re Making a Difference

Building Connections, Elevating Awareness

At Transcend United, our mission is to elevate cross-cultural awareness and foster collaborations that bring deeper understanding among people of all ages. Our vision is to build a community where diversity is celebrated, and every senior feels a true sense of belonging.

Our vision is to ensure that seniors, especially those from migrant and refugee communities, are not isolated, but rather engaged in meaningful relationships that enrich their lives.

We are committed to addressing the challenges of social isolation by providing comprehensive support that meets essential needs like healthcare accessibility, transportation, and education. Through our efforts, we aspire to build a community where diversity is celebrated, and every senior feels a sense of belonging.

Community Connections

Transcend United fosters community by bringing people together through universal, non-verbal activities like cooking, dancing, singing, and martial arts. These shared experiences transcend language barriers, allowing members to connect, learn from one another, and build lasting, cross-cultural relationships.

Healthcare Navigation

Transcend United provides seniors with essential healthcare resources, including connections to language-specific primary care, help navigating medical insurance, and personalized medical consultations. Members can also benefit from remote patient monitoring devices, covered by insurance, to ensure ongoing care and support.

Our Leadership Team

Transcend United brings together a rich tapestry of backgrounds in healthcare from both public and private sectors, offering invaluable insights and leadership to guide our vision.
